And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do close to Crater Lake. A fine spot for whitewater paddling next to Crater Lake is Grizzly Creek, and why not camp at Anderson Camps LTD if you're here at Crater Lake.       Camping is available at Sweetwater Lake Campground; on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the South Derby Trail. W Mountain is clearly visible from Crater Lake, as expected you could also take a look at Crescent Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Sweetwater Creek near Crater Lake, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the High Trail. High temperatures at Crater Lake through                  the long summer days are in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Crater Lake.
