You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area close to Crater Lake has to offer. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Crater Lake has to offer, you can camp at Anderson Camps LTD, and Oak Tree Inn Yampa is a magnificent location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Crater Lake, you'll find Buck Lake which is a wonderful lake, and you can stay the night       at Sweetwater Lake Campground. High temperatures at Crater Lake during the summertime months are in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Crater Lake. The view of pretty W Mountain near Crater Lake is good, and nearby you stumble on the Ute Trail which is a good hiking trail. A delightful spot for whitewater paddling next to Crater Lake is Sweetwater Creek, and since                  you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Star Lake. On a delightful day at Crater Lake you can take a hike along the South Derby Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Hotel Colorado. This lake is so wonderful. Grizzly Creek is a good whitewater spot next to Crater Lake; the High Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby.
