You completely have to like Crater Lake. Go for a hike on the Ute Trail, and camping at Anderson Camps LTD is always a magnificent experience. Going for a hike on the South Derby Trail is always a nice adventure; Crater Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Sweetwater Lake Campground is a perfect local campground. Lakes are delightful;       Star Lake is a lake that's next to Crater Lake. Throughout the summer highs here at Crater Lake get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's; night lows at Crater Lake throughout the winter mostly descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Oak Tree Inn Yampa is a good place to get some rest; there are some delightful whitewater spots on Grizzly Creek. Crater Lake gets very little                  rainfall; during the month of March you get the most snow around here, and June is when it's the driest.
