Custom Search     Crater Lake     Hiked into Crater Lake on 6/23/07. Caught three 12' cutthroat trout, and had a much larger trout strike my lure a couple of times (not hard enough for me to set the hook). Beautiful place, but the mosquitos ate me alive. Says Luke M. Reschke Looking for some flowing water? Try Crater Creek, and the Monument Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. You undeniably should stop at Vega State Park while you're here at Crater Lake. There's so much to do here     at Crater Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Dyke Creek Campground is a good place for that. This lake is so wonderful.
