The beauty of Crater Lake attracts many people from all around. All through the summer at Crater Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 60's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. Campground is a great place for that. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan Mountains. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do in the vicinity of Crater Lake. San Juan River - East Fork has a great whitewater
paddling spot nearby, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Quartz Creek Trail.
Dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn; needless to say Bear Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth going to. Crater
Lake is a quite wet place mostly with a large amount of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest month is June. Near Crater Lake you find the Hot Creek Stock Driveway which is a pleasant hiking trail; at Crater Lake you can see Long Trek Mountain.
