The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 60's to Crater Lake, and the nighttime is quite chillier of course, generally in the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Crater Lake drop into the 0's. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Wolf Creek, obviously you could also stop by Lake De Nolda while you're here; it's not far at all. So many exciting things close
to Crater Lake, clearly amazing. Going for a hike along the Silver Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Crater Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Stunner Campground is a great place to camp nearby.
Crater Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Hiking along the Hot Creek Stock Driveway is delightful fun; you can stay the night at Cross Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful.

Why not have a look at close by Bear Creek if you're here at Crater Lake, and The Spruce Lodge is a brilliant site to get some rest.
That right there is lots of fun stuff already but it goes on, the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has it all. Paddling on San Juan River - East Fork is so much fun, and Crater Lake is right by the Quartz Creek Trail. Crater Lake is a wet spot that gets a large amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most snow, and June on the other hand is the driest. Be careful coming to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. Long Trek Mountain is painless to spot from Crater Lake; Crater Lake is not the only spot close by, Lake Annella is a close by lake.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Allington Inn and Suites is a glorious choice.
