Having a perfect time in the San Juan Mountains is easy. There is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Crater Lake called the Red Lake Trail, and Foster Hotel Bar Restaurant is a pleasant spot to get some rest. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan Mountains. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the San Juan Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Rio Chama is so much fun, and       on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the La Manga Stock Driveway. After a long day outdoors Hotel & Shops is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and lakes are such serene places, why not have a look at Beaver Lakes. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Going for a hike on the Elk Creek Trail is always a good adventure, and camping at Crater Lake is delightful fun, El Vado Lake Camping Resort is a delightful local campground.                  Crater Lake is a nice place to camp, Trujillo Meadows Campground is a nice place, and get covered with water paddling on Rio Brazos. For the period of the summertime at Crater Lake highs are commonly in the 60's, and the night is somewhat colder of course, regularly in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and night lows in the 0's for Crater Lake.
