There is a good hiking trail near Crane Lake called the Carson Lake Trail; you can run the rapids of Kannah Creek. Near Crane Lake you come across the Deep Creek Trail which is a good hiking trail, and Comfort Inn Delta is a glorious site to get some rest. Flowing Park is a striking location any time of year; not far from Crane Lake you'll stumble on Hogchute Reservoir which is a striking lake. Crane Lake has to offer, you can camp at Jumbo Reservoir Campground; skiing at Powderhorn is one of those things you just must do. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Point Trail is always a good adventure, and dry
warm beds await you at Best Western Sundance. It is very dehydrated here at Crane Lake generally; the month with most of the rain is October, and the driest of the months is January.
