For the duration of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's; overnight lows through the winter for Lakes of the Crags tend to be in the-10's. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Lakes of the Crags. The peak of The Dome can be spotted from Lakes of the Crags; you can stay the       night at Dry Lake Campground. Just can't get enough of the Park Range. A lovely lake like Luna Lake right next door to Lakes of the Crags is a wonderful site to pop by, and fine hiking is available along the Big Creek Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Elk River is so much fun, and dry warm beds await you at Winterwood Townhomes. There's perfect hiking along the Wyoming Trail, and Summit Lake Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. Lakes                  of the Crags is located in the Park Range. Around Lakes of the Crags you don’t get a lot of precipitation; most of the snow falls during December while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Very charming scenery and nice skiing is what you get at Howelsen Hill. Lake of the Crags is a pleasant lake next to Lakes of the Crags, and you can go for a hike on the Crags Trail. And if that's not enough there's lots more enjoyable stuff to do in the Park Range. Gotta ski!
