Lake of the Crags is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. This site is great, just look at all the exciting stuff to do near Lake of the Crags. Take a hike on the Big Creek Lake Trail, and after a long day outdoors Winterwood Townhomes is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Steamboat, and Lake of the Crags is right by the Crags Trail.

Sure, Mirror Lake is around here, and if you come at the right time of year, Elk River offers some great whitewater. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lake of the Crags. Lake of the Crags temperatures dip to the-10's. Around Lake of the Crags you don’t get a lot of rain; December is the wettest month with most snow while August is commonly the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. Summit Lake
Campground is a splendid local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Western Lodge, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Luna Lake Trail. A brilliant sight of beautiful The Dome is available
from Lake of the Crags; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Big Creek Lake.
Be careful coming to the Park Range, you might not ever want to go home again. Howelsen Hill has good slopes
and a friendly staff, and Lake of the Crags is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Dry Lake Campground is a fine place to camp nearby.
