Lakes? Sure, Fish Creek Reservoir Number 1 is close by, and since you're here at Cowpuncher Lake it's a splendid idea to explore High Park. Fish Creek Reservoir Number 2 is a fine lake next to Cowpuncher Lake. There's so much to do here at Cowpuncher Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Lake Campground is a good place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Coal Creek; get soaked paddling on Cimarron River.

hiking trail nearby. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Cowpuncher Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big Cimarron Campground, and nearby you discover the Courthouse Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail.
