Cowboy Lake is always a pleasure to visit. A good place like Cabbage Patch here at Cowboy Lake is too good to miss, and you can run the rapids of Cimarron River. This lake is so wonderful. If you yearn for a little side spree, try Lou Creek Pass; there are good locations to look at along the Deer Creek Trail. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the San Juan Mountains. Fox Creek is right next door to Cowboy Lake and is always a bliss to take a look at,

| | and don't leave Cowboy Lake without first going for a hike along the Courthouse Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Ouray, and a great place to camp here at Cowboy Lake is Big Cimarron Campground. The skiing at Silverton is tremendous, and Cowboy Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Beaver Lake Campground is a brilliant local campground. scenery is always beautiful. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is plentiful here in the San Juan Mountains. Silver Jack Dam has brilliant water scenery and it's near Cowboy Lake, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Cimarron
River. If you need a spot to stay Ouray Chalet Inn is a splendid choice. Cowboy Lake is a location that is relatively dehydrated usually; most of the rain falls through September, and February is when it's the driest. This is
no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. You're perhaps hooked on lakes, Beaver Lake is one of those close by; going for a hike on the Lou Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure.
