Cow Lake is always a pleasure to visit. All through the summer at Cow Lake highs are usually in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 30's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Cow Lake dipping down into the-20's during winter nights. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range. Cow Lake is pretty dried out typically; most of the rain falls through August, and June meanwhile is the driest month.

| | so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Monarch is near Cow Lake; if you came to camp Hughes Meadow Campground is a glorious site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is plentiful here in the Sawatch Range. Going for a hike on the Texas Creek Trail is always a fine adventure, and get wet paddling on Clear Creek.

need to camp here for a while, Mirror Lake Campground is a nice site for that. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Cottonwood Pass is a splendid place to stop by nearby, and after a long day outdoors Best Western
Vista Inn is a perfect site to spend a night or two. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Lost Lake, and don't leave Cow Lake without first going for a hike along the Timberline Trail.
There's no way someone can get bored here in the Sawatch Range. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Lake Creek, and there are tremendous sites to explore along the Horn Fork Trail.
