You'll need more than a day to discover everything Cow Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mirror Lake Campground, and you should certainly dedicate some time to Sanford Basin while you're here at Cow Lake. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll fancy Cow Lake. On a magnificent day at Cow Lake you can take a hike along the Horn Fork Trail, and while you're here, you could also go to beautiful       Spout Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is a splendid hiking trail close to Cow Lake called the Timberline Trail; you'll locate a picturesque lake called Lost Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clear Creek. Cow Lake gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and June is when it's the driest. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is bountiful here in the Sawatch Range. There are some wonderful                  whitewater spots on Lake Creek, and Monarch is a very popular ski area around here. Best Western Vista Inn is a perfect site to get some rest, and Cottonwood Pass is also a wonderful place to discover. For the duration of the warmest time of the year here at Cow Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 30's. During the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the-20's overnight here at Cow Lake. If the weather is great here at Cow Lake, you can go for a hike along the Texas Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at Cow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hughes Meadow Campground is a brilliant site for that.
