Dolores River RV Park is a pleasant local campground, and Dunton Hot Springs is a nice place to get some rest. At Cow Camp Reservoir during the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Cow Camp Reservoir nighttime low temperatures during       the winter are in the 10's. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Cortez; there's pleasant hiking along the McPhee Stock Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A spree to Mesa Verde National Park is recommended. Cow Camp Reservoir is a location that is reasonably dry mostly; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain; June on the other hand is the driest. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Cow Camp Reservoir has it all. If                  you came for an overnight stay Cozy Comfort RV Park and Mountain Retreat is a nice site to camp; a journey to Cow Camp Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Dry Canyon Spring. There are other places here than Cow Camp Reservoir, for example Plateau Rim Reservoir, and the Stoner Stock Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful.
