So many fun things to do here at Cove Reservoir, too brilliant to be true. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bull Trail, and paddling on Jones Hole Creek is so much fun. Yampa River has a great whitewater paddling spot       nearby, and unsurprisingly, this is a brilliant area for folks who like lakes, Irish Lakes is a lake in close proximity. Not much precipitation falls here at Cove Reservoir; October is the month that gets the most rain; January is the month with the least moisture. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Cove Reservoir get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; winter nights come                  with lows in the 0's to Cove Reservoir. Hiking along the Hoy Trail is magnificent fun, and most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Basset Reservoir Number 2 is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Cottonwood Creek; do take a hike on the Joe Trail.
