A pleasant journey to Long Park is a nice way to spend an afternoon; a tour to Orphan Spring will fill your soul with good feelings. Get dripping wet paddling on White River - South Fork; after a long day outdoors Red River Inn is a splendid location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Coulter Lake you can take a hike along       the Fayville Trail, and Garden Gulch is a great spot to spend some time. Going for a hike along the Last Chance Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and as expected G V Creek flows through this vicinity. So many cool things to do at Coulter Lake, so little time. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Mansfield Ditch Trail, and Bear Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. Coulter Lake gets very little rain; October is when you                  get the most rain here while February is typically the driest month. If you came to camp Three Forks Campground is a good place to do that, and a tremendous close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SILT. Camping at Little Box Campground is always a magnificent experience, and why not visit Coulter Dam if you're here. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Coulter Lake reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's.
