Not much rainfall falls here at Cottonwood Reservoir Number 1; the wettest month of the year is mostly October, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest. You can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Powderhorn, and Cottonwood Reservoir Number 1 is a glorious site to camp, Ward Lake Campground is a glorious site. Stay the night at Carp Lake Campground, and after a long day outdoors       Comfort Inn Delta is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. This is a glorious neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Arch Slough is a lake around here; why not take a refreshing hike along the Lily Lake Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Kannah Creek; Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a wonderful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
