There's whitewater on Dolores River for all you adrenaline junkies, and Cottonwood Spring is a splendid local attraction. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the McPhee Stock Trail is always a fine adventure. Lakes? Sure, Albert Reservoir is in the vicinity. There is a magnificent hiking trail right next door to Cottonwood Gulch Reservoir called the Ormiston Point Stock Driveway; a perfect close by hotel is Sun Canyon Ranch.

but if it's for you then we recommend Dolores River. There's so much to do here at Cottonwood Gulch Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Mc Phee Mobile Home and RV Park is a good site for that.
