So much exciting stuff to do at Cotton Lake, so little time. On a perfect day at Cotton Lake you can take a hike along the Hermit Lake Trail. Lakes are good; Cherry Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Cotton Lake. Stay the night at Lake Creek Campground, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Cotton Trail. Cotton Lake gets very little rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain while January is generally the driest month.

 | Trail is awful, disappearing and reappearing every now and again. Thorn bushes and trash cover what little trail is easy to navigate. Trail disappears completely before you actually reach the lake. Also it appears that an axe murderer has taken up residence in the upperwoods. Be careful and travel in large groups if you plan to try and make it to the lake. It is easy to get lost so mark your trail well.... |
