Cotton Lake is always a pleasure to visit. At Cotton Lake you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls through August, and January is the month with the least moisture. Go for a hike on the Cotton Trail, and spots like Kolkman Basin are good to have a look at. At Cotton Lake throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 40's while the cold winter nights

Hermit Lake Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Cotton Lake has to offer, you can camp at North Crestone Campground.

vicinity of Cotton Lake. There's so much to do here at Cotton Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Creek Campground is a fine place for that. There's some flowing water nearby, Middle Fork Cotton Creek is a stream you
can go to during your stay, and there's nice hiking along the Rito Alto Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you feel like a little side spree, try Henderson Gulch.
This lake is so wonderful. You can catch a sight of De Anza Peak from Cotton Lake, and a delightful close by hotel is AppleLodge Bed And Breakfast.
