Having a wonderful time in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains is painless. Hiking along the Hermit Lake Trail is brilliant fun, and unsurprisingly Middle Fork Cotton Creek flows through this vicinity. Take a hike on the Cotton Trail, and Arkansas River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Any time is a brilliant time at Cotton Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. You'll stumble       on a pretty lake called Cherry Lake near Cotton Lake, and don’t forget to go to Kolkman Basin since you're here at Cotton Lake. A fine place to camp here at Cotton Lake is Lake Creek Campground, and the top of De Anza Peak is easily made out from Cotton Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Sangre De Cristo Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Near Cotton Lake you come across fine spots like Henderson Gulch; going for a hike along the Rito Alto Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Summer at Cotton Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is quite chillier of course, frequently in the 40's.
