Royal Gorge/Canon City KOA is a fine campground here, and Wolf Park is a tremendous location here at Cotter Tailing Impoundment. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Canon City, and if you haven’t been to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, you should schedule some time for it since you're here. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Arkansas River, and you can                  go for a hike on the Stultz Trail. High temperatures at Cotter Tailing Impoundment during the summertime are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's.
