Costo Lake is always a pleasure to visit. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Costo Lake has to offer, you can camp at Commissary Gulch Campground, and going for a hike on the Mill-Castle Trail is always a pleasant adventure. After a long day outdoors Lodge at Mountaineer Square is a great spot to spend a night or two, and a brilliant place close by is Castle Pass. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Irwin Lodge, and there are nice locations to look at along the Lowline Trail. At Costo Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the wettest
month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. All through the warm days of summer at Costo Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. Throughout
the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Costo Lake descend into the-10's.
