For the period of the months of summer highs here at Corral Lake get into the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Corral Lake. Not much rainfall falls here at Corral Lake; during October this area sees the most rain while January is regularly the driest month. Not enough hours in a       day to enjoy this spot. Very pretty scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Sunlight Mountain, and after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn New Castle is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. Corral Lake is right by the Bailey Lake Trail, and Comfort Inn is a great spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on White River - South Fork is so much fun; Hill Creek Campground and Trailhead is a nice campground here. If you came                  for an overnight stay Meadow Creek Campground is a nice site to camp; there's tremendous hiking along the Fayville Trail.
