If you came to camp Meadow Creek Campground is a great place to do that, and there's glorious hiking along the Fayville Trail. A splendid site for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Corral Lake is White River - South Fork, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Wilbur Lake. Camping at Hill Creek Campground and Trailhead is always a splendid experience; a great close by hotel is Rodeway Inn. This lake is so wonderful.

| | In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on White River - North Fork, and the Oyster Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Corral Lake has it all. What would winter be without some skiing at Sunlight Mountain, and Quality Inn & Suites On The River is a pleasant place to get some rest. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes. Trappers Lake Campground
 | 19 miles away I've been going to Yampa since I was around 5 years of age. I'm not usually too keen on seeing new hotels being established in sleepy mountain towns, but The Oak Tree Inn is an exception. It's a welcome addition to this amazing little town and a great retreat when the snows come.... |
