Around Corner Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; all through July this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Iron Spring Campground is a glorious campground nearby, and you'll locate a scenic lake called Mud Spring Reservoir. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more fun stuff to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Going for a       hike along the Dry Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and paddling on San Miguel River is so much fun. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Lakes are such serene places, why not go to Tikka Reservoir near Corner Reservoir; Corner Reservoir is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Antone Spring Campground is a wonderful site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Saint Joe Draw is a wonderful site to spend some                  time at; some of the water close by flows, like North Creek. Just can't get enough of the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Glide down the rapids of San Miguel River in a kayak, and if you need a place to stay Fairmont Franz Klammer Lodge is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Corner Reservoir without first paying a visit to Flatiron Spring, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Paradox Road. Summertime highs at Corner Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's; night lows in the 0's for Corner Reservoir.
