Beautiful Copper Lake has much to offer visitors. During the warm days of summer highs here at Copper Lake get into the 70's; the nighttime is rather colder of course, usually in the 40's. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Lowline Trail; you can run the rapids of East River. While you're here at Copper Lake it's a pleasant idea to have a look at
Copper Basin, and at Copper Lake you can catch a sight of Precarious Peak. At Copper Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month
with the least moisture.
If you haven’t been to Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park, you should schedule some time for it if you're here; a good spot for whitewater paddling is Slate River.
