Copeland Lake is always a pleasure to visit. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Front Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Saint Vrain Creek - North; you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Allens Park-Wild Basin Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You get a pleasant sight of Horsetooth Peak from Copeland Lake, and if you need a place to stay Marys Lake

| | Lodge is a good choice. Meeker Park Campground is a delightful local campground; an interesting thing to stop at in close proximity to Copeland Lake is Copeland Dam. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Copeland Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Copeland Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Lakes are such serene sites, | |

why not take a look at Buck Lake close to Copeland Lake, and do pop by Campers Creek since you're here at Copeland Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Allens Park Trail, and there's whitewater
on Saint Vrain Creek - South for all you adrenaline kick people. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool things just keep reading. And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do near Copeland Lake. A lovely
lake like Finch Lake near Copeland Lake is a good place to stop at, and if you came for an overnight stay Mount Meeker Campground is a nice location to camp. That right there is loads of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Front
Range has it all. Take a hike on the Sandbeach Lake Trail, and Rocky Mountain National Park is a perfect national park. Dry warm beds await you at Stone Mountain Lodge And Cabins, and Copeland Lake is in the neighborhood of East
George Canyon which is positively worth stopping at. Copeland Lake is a beautiful lake in the Front Range. Copeland Lake is generally a relatively dried out site; through August this area sees the most rain, and November is when it's the driest.
