Coons Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. Coons Reservoir gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls through September while February is usually the driest month. There's so much to do here at Coons Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Lake Campground is a fine location for that. Slagle Pass is a delightful place to explore, and Coons Reservoir is right by the Courthouse Trail.
