Spruce Grove Campground is a great site for that. Coon Creek Reservoir Number 2 is pretty dry frequently; the month with most of the rain is October; January meanwhile is the driest month. Why not stop at Long Slough Dam since you're
here, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Carson Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the months of summer, highs usually are in the 90's at Coon Creek Reservoir Number 2. Throughout
