Pawnee Lake Campground is a good campground nearby; a great place for whitewater paddling is Saint Vrain Creek - North. So much exciting stuff to do at Cony Lake, so little time. The scenery at Bluebird Dam in the neighborhood of Cony Lake is beautiful, and from Cony Lake you acquire a delightful sight of Cooper Peak. Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do in the Front Range. If you like skiing, you're       in luck; Berthoud Pass is in close proximity to Cony Lake; if you get bored of Cony Lake you could also stop by close by Bluebird Lake. If time allows, Rocky Mountain National Park is a national park worth a visit, and dry warm beds await you at Aspen Lodge. If you need a location to stay Inn At Grand Lake, The is a fine choice; hiking along the Buchanan Pass Trail is pleasant fun. High temperatures at Cony Lake through the summertime months are in the 70's.                  For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and night lows during the winter for Cony Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Shelter Rock Campground is a magnificent local campground, and the Saint Vrain Glacier Trail offers hiking at its best. You truly must adore the Front Range. Junco Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and Cony Lake is right by the Bluebird Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Cony Lake without first checking out Elk Tooth, and a great location close by is Cony Pass. Cony Lake is mostly a reasonably dried up site; through August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So many entertaining things to do here in the Front Range, too tremendous to be true. Here at Cony Lake there are plenty of people from Boulder. This site is great, just look at all the fun things to do close to Cony Lake.
