Not much precipitation falls here at Conley Lakes; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Arkansas River for all you adrenaline junkies, and Leadville Rv Corral is a delightful campground nearby. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Rich Creek - Buffalo Meadows Trail; fine skiing awaits       you at Ski Cooper. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Take a hike on the Main Range Trail. Nearby lakes? Sure, Diamond Lake is near Conley Lakes, and Copper Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff. You can run the rapids of Arkansas River right next door to Conley Lakes, and after a long day outdoors Delaware Hotel is a perfect place to spend a night or two. The Limber Grove Trail offers hiking at its best, and since you're                  here, you might as well have a look at Alps Gulch. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Conley Lakes has it all. You could also check out Evans Gulch Number 2 Reservoir if you're here at Conley Lakes; it's close by, and you don’t have to go far from Conley Lakes to catch a sight of the water at Black Cloud Tailing Pond Dam. Through the days of summer at Conley Lakes highs are ordinarily in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. Highs throughout the winter are typically in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Conley Lakes during the wintertime frequently descend into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.
