A visit to Cone Reservoir is always a good idea. Goshorn Flats is a brilliant spot here at Cone Reservoir, and you'll meet a lot of people from Montrose here. tremendous water scenery at Lone Cone Dam, and get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of San Miguel River. Cone Reservoir is regularly a quite dry location; the month with most of the rain is July, and February meanwhile
is the driest month. Cone Reservoir is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Miramonte Reservoir Campground is a perfect local campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend San Miguel River.
