If you are in San Juan county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Como. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake Como that you need to camp here for a while, Ridgeway is a splendid place for that, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Bear Creek Trail. If you adore the outdoors, you'll adore Lake Como. If the weather is splendid here at Lake Como, you can go for a hike along the Horsethief Trail, and Letcher Creek is one

You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Kendall Mountain if you're here, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Mineral Creek - South. than a day at, Ouray Koa Kampground is a pleasant local campground; gorgeous scenery and good skiing is what you acquire at Silverton. It is very dried out here at Lake Como generally; during the month of August you get the most rain
around here while June is generally the driest month. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Emma is in close proximity to Lake
Como; dry warm beds await you at St.Elmo Hotel. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes. Parson Lake is a lake close by, and you obtain a magnificent view of Bonita Peak from here. Alaska Basin is a great place to stretch
your legs a bit, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Greyhound Pack Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Poughkeepsie Gulch is a great place to take a look at near Lake Como, and Best Western Twin Peaks Motel is a nice
place to get some rest. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Lake Como, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Lake Como. Lake Como is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
