This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the perfect skiing at Kendall Mountain, and going for a hike on the Bear Creek Trail is always a pleasant adventure. There are nice places to discover along the Greyhound Pack Trail; do go to Lake Emma, it's a scenic lake. So much fun stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, not enough time. Soar down the rapids of Lime Creek in a kayak; a great nearby hotel is Best Western Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot

Skiing at Silverton is one of those things you just have to do, and if you crave a little side trip, try Poughkeepsie Gulch. Lake Como truly is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Why not check out close by Letcher Creek
if you're here at Lake Como, and camping at Ridgeway is always a good experience. This lake is so wonderful. A fine location to camp here at Lake Como is Ouray Koa Kampground, and the summit of Bonita Peak can be observed from Lake
Como. During the summer here at Lake Como, high temperatures generally get into the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lake Como.
