Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Lake Como is one of them. That right there is heaps of exciting things already but it goes on, the San Juan Mountains has it all. If you need a place to stay Antlers Motel is a great choice, and a quick tour to Letcher Creek is certainly a great idea. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lime Creek; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Greyhound Pack Trail. If only every

If you came for an overnight stay Ouray Koa Kampground is a great site to camp; if you're here you can take a hike along the Horsethief Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Mineral Creek - South is a glorious whitewater spot near Lake Como, and why not head up to Kendall Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Ridgeway, and hiking along the Bear Creek Trail is glorious fun. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan Mountains. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the
70's to Lake Como, and the overnight is somewhat colder of course, frequently in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Lake Como night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the
10's. If you fancy a little side trip, try Poughkeepsie Gulch, and a tremendous close by hotel is Best Western Twin Peaks Motel. Lake Como is ordinarily a pretty dried out site; most of the rain falls during August, and June meanwhile
is the driest month. Don’t forget to take a look at Alaska Basin if you're here at Lake Como, and Silverton is a very popular ski area close at hand. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the
San Juan Mountains. Do stop by Lake Emma right next door to Lake Como, it's a delightful lake; if the weather is wonderful, you acquire a wonderful vista of Bonita Peak from Lake Como.
