Around Lake Como you don’t get a lot of rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and January on the other hand is the driest. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Lake Como highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Como dipping down into the 0's throughout winter       nights. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the area next to Lake Como has to offer. There's tremendous hiking along the Strawberry Trail. Lake Como is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Ute Trail, and Great Sand Dunes National Monument is a brilliant local destination. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Como is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Blanca RV Park is a tremendous                  site to camp nearby, and everybody loves Blanca Basin. And that's not all there is to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Great Sand Dunes Oasis is a brilliant campground nearby; you can go for a hike on the Huerfano Trail.
