Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. There's so much to do here at Como Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Michigan Creek Campground is a wonderful location for that; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Crested Butte. At Como Lake you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the       driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Western Inn Motel & Rv Park, and you can go for a hike on the Old Boreas Wagon Road. Summer at Como Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's with overnight lows in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Como Lake fall into the-10's. You can run the rapids of Tenmile Creek close                  to Como Lake, and there's great hiking along the Wheeler Trail. If you came to camp Selkirk Campground is a good place to do that; Breckenridge has perfect slopes and a friendly staff.
