You'll need more than a day to look at everything Como Lake has to offer, you can camp at Selkirk Campground, and going for a hike along the Burning Bear Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is magnificent here at Como Lake, you can go for a hike along the Wheeler Trail; whitewater paddling is fine on Tenmile Creek. Dry warm beds await you at Breckenridge Mountain Village by Breckenridge Accommodations,

| | and Como Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Michigan Creek Campground is a great site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Old Boreas Wagon Road is good fun, and pretty scenery and great skiing is what you get at Breckenridge. Tarryall Ranch Reservoir Number 1 is a wonderful lake near Como Lake. Lakes? Sure, Cline Reservoir is close at hand. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in close proximity to Como Lake. | |

Gotta ski! Crested Butte is a tremendous place to do that, and Lodge And Spa At Breckenridge is a great location to get some rest. At Como Lake throughout the summer highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to
the 30's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Como Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. Como Lake gets very little precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February.
