This lake is so wonderful. Put some time aside to spend at Venable Falls if you're here at Comanche Lake. Venable Pass is near Comanche Lake and is certainly a wonderful site to explore, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Rito Alto Trail. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Comanche Lake is a pleasant place to camp, Lake Creek Campground is a pleasant place, and Comanche Peak is uncomplicated to spot from Comanche Lake. Phantom Terrace is an attention-grabbing place to take a look at while at Comanche Lake, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Loop Trail.
