     Columbine Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Cascade Village is a brilliant choice, and lakes are such serene spots, why not stop at Aspaas Lake. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are truly abundant here at Columbine Lake. Camping at Purgatory Campground is always a magnificent experience, and why not explore nearby Elbert Creek since you're here at Columbine Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is
 
   available along the Highline Trail; Purgatory Flat is a good place to stretch your legs a bit. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan Mountains. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the San Juan Mountains has to offer. Skiing at Kendall Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do, and Castle Rock can be spotted from Columbine Lake.
There's tremendous hiking along the Circle Trail, and beautiful scenery and great
 
               skiing is what you obtain at Silverton. Columbine Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Canyon Creek, and Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel is a glorious place to get some rest.
So much entertaining stuff near Columbine Lake, definitely inspiring. If you come at the right time of year, Animas River offers some perfect whitewater, and Lake of the Pines Dam is a stunning location, absolutely worth a visit. Throughout the summertime months at Columbine Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Columbine Lake are in the 0's. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The San Juan Mountains is peerless! The East Fork Trail offers hiking at its best, and a great site to camp here at Columbine Lake is Haviland Lake Campground.
