If you are in Grand county it's always a good idea to stop by Columbine Lake. Go for a hike on the Outlet Trail, and a lake close by is Grand Lake. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Dry warm beds await you at Inn At Grand Lake, The, and there's brilliant hiking along the Green Mountain Trail. Little Columbine Creek flows through this neighborhood; enjoy a round of golf at Grand Lake Golf Course.

| | highs are in the 70's, and the overnight is a bit chillier of course, typically in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Columbine Lake plunge into the 0's. Man, is there plenty of amusing stuff to do in close proximity to Columbine Lake. It is very dry here at Columbine Lake generally; throughout May this area sees the most rain while January is usually the driest month.

lake is so wonderful. A great beach close to Columbine Lake is Surprise Beach; paddling on Fraser River is so much fun. Harbison Campground is a great local campground; don't leave Columbine Lake without first going for a hike along
the Shadow Mountain Trail. After a long day outdoors Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and Kawuneeche Valley is another brilliant site to have a look at nearby.
Why not camp at Elk Creek
Campground and RV Park since you're here at Columbine Lake, and hey, Gotta ski right? Berthoud Pass is a wonderful place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Willow Creek, and the slopes of SolVista are so inviting nobody can resist.
