Dry warm beds await you at Skier's Edge Lodge, and camping at Kite Lake Campground is always a brilliant experience. Columbia Reservoir is ordinarily a pretty waterless spot; all through July this area sees the most rain while February is generally the driest month. Head up to Breckenridge and strap some skis to your feet, and places like High Park are perfect to stop by. Summertime       highs at Columbia Reservoir ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Columbia Reservoir are in the-10's. While you're here at Columbia Reservoir you can take a hike along the Burro Trail, and Crested Butte is a very popular ski area close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Arkansas River;                  after a long day outdoors Alma Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll love Columbia Reservoir. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Wheeler Trail; why not a little side trip to Buckskin Creek. Going for a hike along the Limber Grove Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Columbia Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Beaver Creek Campground is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
