Colorado has many beautiful lakes and College Lake is one of them. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around College Lake; Jug Trail is a great local trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Front Range. Mill Creek flows through this vicinity, and you'll meet a lot of people from Fort Collins-Loveland here. A perfect site to camp here at College Lake is Camp Dick - Arapaho National Forest; Eltuck

It is very arid here at College Lake usually; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation. College Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Heron Lake RV Park is a brilliant local campground, and if you need a place to stay The Armstrong Hotel is a great choice. Range, just tremendous. Arthurs Rock Gulch is a magnificent place to check out nearby, and if you get bored of College Lake you could also go to nearby Claymore Lake. At College Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 70's,
and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, usually in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while College Lake night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater
paddling is magnificent on Cache La Poudre River, and good hiking is available along the Greyrock Trail. Any time is a good time at College Lake if you love the outdoors. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet,
you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River; why not check out Soldier Canyon Dam since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hilton Fort Collins is a nice place to spend a night or two, and don't leave College Lake without first going for a hike along the Wintersteen Trail.
