A visit to College Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Armstrong Hotel is a great location to spend a night or two, and while you're here, you might as well explore Arthurs Rock Gulch. College Lake is right by the Jug Trail, and a visit to Eltuck Bay is always a pleasant idea. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from College Lake you acquire some glorious water scenery at Soldier Canyon Dam, and why not take a refreshing

Just can't get enough of the Front Range. College Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Dick - Arapaho National Forest is a splendid local campground, and the Wintersteen Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. Summertime highs at College Lake usually tend to be in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures
are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows during the wintertime for College Lake tend to be in the 0's. People from Fort Collins-Loveland love to come to College Lake; there are other
sites here than College Lake, for example Claymore Lake.
Not much rain falls here at College Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is December. And
if that's not enough there's heaps more entertaining things to do in the Front Range. If you came to camp Heron Lake RV Park is a great site to do that; you can run the rapids of Cache La Poudre River.
