Go to Coleman Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. Do have a look at Foster Reservoir near Coleman Reservoir, it's a picturesque lake, and the Jug Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. If you need a location to stay Longmont/Twin Peaks Super 8 Motel is a brilliant choice, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Thompson River. Coleman Reservoir is typically a pretty dry location; the month with most of the rain is May, and January is the month with the least moisture. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Coleman Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Coleman Reservoir is not far at all from Fort Collins-Loveland; camping at Coleman Reservoir is fine fun, Fireside Camper Park is a fine local
campground. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 80's at Coleman Reservoir. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun
is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Coleman Reservoir drop into the 10's. Rocky Mountain National Park is a glorious location close to Coleman Reservoir, and Handy Dam is a site that is in close proximity to Coleman Reservoir.
