Do stop by Cole Reservoir while you're in this part of Colorado. So much amusing stuff in the Park Range, just incredible. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Williams Fork, and Silverthorne Days Inn is a fine place to get some rest. Lots of folks from Silverthorne come to Cole Reservoir, and camping at Cole Reservoir is wonderful fun, Prairie Point Campground is a wonderful local campground. You'll never forgive yourself

Cole Reservoir is pretty dried up mostly; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Reservoir and is always a bliss to visit; going for a hike on the Sulfur Trail is always a tremendous adventure. This lake is so wonderful. McDonald Flats Campground is a great campground here; whitewater paddling is great on Blue
River. And that's not all the things to do here in the Park Range. From Cole Reservoir you get a nice view of Battle Mountain, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Williams Peak Trail. This lake is located
in the wonderful Park Range. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Dale Reservoir, and nearby you find the Horseshoe Sulfur Trail which is a fine hiking trail.
