Summer brings highs in the 80's to Coghill-Lower Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Coghill-Lower Reservoir temperatures dip to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A short tour to Cold Spring is always worthwhile, and lakes are such serene locations,       why not pop by Upper Cogdill Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Park Range. Deadman Draw is near Coghill-Lower Reservoir and is a great site, and the Sugar Loaf Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby. Going for a hike along the Bears Ears Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and there are other places here than Coghill-Lower                  Reservoir, for example Codhill-Upper Reservoir. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Park Range. Coghill-Lower Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Sawmill Creek Campground is a great local campground, and why not take a little journey to Government Corral Creek if you're here. Coghill-Lower Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and Camel Back Mountain is a peak you can spot from Coghill-Lower Reservoir. Coghill-Lower Reservoir truly is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. A wonderful spot to camp here at Coghill-Lower Reservoir is Freeman Campground, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Sandstone Divide Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Elk Run Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two.
