Coffin Lake is pretty dried out mostly; the wettest month of the year is generally March, that's the one that snows the most while June is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. On a fine day at Coffin Lake you can take a hike along the Oyster Lake Trail,       and get covered with water paddling on Sweetwater Creek. Bucks Campground is a tremendous local campground, and Trappers Lake is a fine lake close by. So much fun stuff in close proximity to Coffin Lake, completely astonishing. McGinnis Meadows Reservoir Dam is a wonderful place right next door to Coffin Lake, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the South Derby Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit White River - North Fork, and since you're                  here at Coffin Lake it's a pleasant idea to stop at Amphitheatre. For the duration of the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Coffin Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are regularly in the 20's with temperatures at Coffin Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Fraser Creek flows through this vicinity, and a striking lake like Little Trappers Lake is a magnificent place to stop at. This lake is so wonderful.
