It is very dried up here at Club Gulch Reservoir frequently; October is the wettest month with most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Don't leave Club Gulch Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Winter Mesa Trail; don't leave Club Gulch Reservoir without first paying a visit to Negro Spring Number 1. the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Club Gulch Reservoir. You don’t have to go far from Club Gulch Reservoir to see the water at Porter Retention Dam, and hiking is a popular
thing to do around Club Gulch Reservoir; Ben Lowe Trail is a great local trail. You'll meet a lot of folks from Montrose here; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Powderhorn while you're here. You definitely
ought to love Club Gulch Reservoir. A good place to go to right next door to Club Gulch Reservoir is Kelso Gulch, and if you came for an overnight stay Amphitheater - Gunnison National Forest is a brilliant spot to camp. This
lake is so wonderful. Best Western Sundance is a brilliant location to get some rest, and there's tremendous hiking along the Long Gulch Trail.
