Why not take a refreshing hike along the Baker Trail; a wonderful nearby hotel is Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr. Good hiking is available along the Thunder Pass Trail, and while you're here, you could also pop by stunning Pinnacle Pool. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake of the Clouds; Red Mountain Trail is a perfect local trail, and one of the principal characteristics       of the surroundings of Lake of the Clouds is Mount Cirrus. If you come at the right time of year, Joe Wright Creek offers some perfect whitewater, and Timber Creek Campground is a good campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The wonderful Never Summer Mountains is here at Lake of the Clouds. Lake of the Clouds is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Craig Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby, and Snow Lake is a nearby lake that                  you could have a look at. Lake of the Clouds gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most while January is typically the driest month.
