Why not camp at Cozy Comfort RV Park and Mountain Retreat since you're here at Cline Reservoir, and Grouse Point is an exciting spot to visit while at Cline Reservoir. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Cline Reservoir. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. a site to stay Dunton Hot Springs is a splendid choice. A magnificent close by hotel is Days Inn Cortez, and since you're here, you could also have a look at striking West Italian Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Why not
take a refreshing hike along the Frink Trail; Van Pelt Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could explore. A perfect place to camp here at Cline Reservoir is Dolores River RV Park, and a short journey to Italian Spring is always worthwhile.
The McPhee Stock Trail offers hiking at its best, and close by Carver Canyon is a glorious place to go.

Puett Reservoir
 | A.M. Puett Reservoir was originally constructed in 1905, and then reconstructed in 1960. It contains 163 surface acres when full and is owned and operated by the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company. The lake is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife and open for public fishing from the bank and from trolling motor powered boats. No swimming is allowed. The lake is on private land and access is limited to 3 feet above the high water line.... |
Summit Reservoir
 | Summit Lake was constructed in 1905 and reconstructed and enlarged in 1938. It is owned and operated by the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company. It contains 402 surfqace acres when full. The lake is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) and open for public fishing. Public access is from highway 184 on the north side of the lake. There is a boat ramp. Fishing is allowed from the bank or from hand powered or trolling motor powered boats only. The public access is maintained by the DOW. The only facilities present is a boat ramp and a pit toilet. No fires, swimming or overnight camping is allowed.... |

 | 11 miles away We stayed in this campground mid-July 2006. Very efficient, friendly park. Adequate power, water, and sewage hookups. Rates were reasonable; and the manager did indicate that longer stays were discounted. Nice fenced dog run for our puppies to enjoy. The microbrewery in town has a wide selection of locally made beverages. I would gladly stop at La Mesa RV Park again.... |
