Camping at Clinard Lake is magnificent fun, Shepherds Rim Campground is a magnificent local campground; Sweetwater Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A pretty lake like Big Fish Lake in close proximity to Clinard Lake is a good location to pop by. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Ute Trail; if you need a place to stay       Rodeway Inn Glenwood Springs is a wonderful choice. Clinard Lake is a location that is pretty waterless regularly; October is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Clinard Lake is right by the Fayville Trail, and a great place for whitewater paddling is White River - North Fork. Throughout the summer months at Clinard Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. High temperatures during the                  winter are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Clinard Lake.
