     If the weather is brilliant here at Cliff Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Bailey Lake Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Cliff Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Hill Creek Campground and Trailhead. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Fayville Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SILT-RIFLE. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling  
   on White River - North Fork. Lakes? Sure, Meadow Creek Reservoir is in close proximity. While you're here at Cliff Lakes you can take a hike along the Last Chance Trail, and Cliff Lakes is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Meadow Creek Campground is a perfect place to camp nearby.
Cliff Lakes is pretty waterless mostly; all through October this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is January. Summertime at Cliff Lakes arrives with
 
               high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Cliff Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Near Cliff Lakes you stumble on great places like South Fork Canyon.
And that's not all you can do here at Cliff Lakes. Meadow Creek Dam is beautiful and it's right next door to Cliff Lakes, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Meadow Creek Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Rodeway Inn is a magnificent place to get some rest, and a great place for whitewater paddling is White River - South Fork.

Meadow lake was my Dada Idea, there is a great campground, easy road up the flat tops wilderness area to get there great for a one day fishing trip or camping, lots of family reunions held there, Great place to take little ones, and all around beautiful area...

The north side of the mansfield trail is hikable and in decent shape,, the lower side below the clark trail cutoff is nearly overgrown and has no water sources...

Jet lake is also located in the Flat Tops wilderness area so no vehicles allowed but is only about a 15 to 20 minute hike to the lake (an easy pretty flat hike) then about another 15 minute hike into shadow lake , about 15 mor into blair lake and about 15 more into crater lake.
Elk lakes are located about 5 minutes from the wilderness area only 1/2 mile to the parking for jet lakes....

located at the foot of Blair Mountain Adams Lake is well worth the trip. Definatly a 4 wheel drive Jeep Trail but only a few miles from Elk lakes, Jet lake, Shadow Lake, Blair lakes , Crater Lake, Deep lake and bison lake. Lots of Cut throat trout, rainbows and browns. Most deffinatly more than a one day trip. Always plan for all kinds of weather, and definitely tent camping only....
