There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Park Range. You could also visit Upper Cataract Lake if you're here at Cliff Lake; it's nearby, and Vail Mountain Lodge And Spa is a great spot to get some rest. Cliff Lake gets very little rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Vail, and the sight       of stunning Eagles Nest is brilliant. Throughout the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Cliff Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Cliff Lake temperatures dip to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Vail Mountain Lodge and Spa, and most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Mirror Lake is just a                  very short distance away. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cliff Lake; Piney Lake Trail is a brilliant local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Gore Creek, and why not head up to Beaver Creek and strap some skis to your feet. Camping is available at Willows Campground, and Cliff Lake is a spot with many visitors from Silverthorne. So many fun things to do in the Park Range, not enough time. Good hiking is available along the Eaglesmere Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Blue River offers some great whitewater. What a spot this is for outdoors folks.
