Why not stop by Cleveland Lake if you're passing through these parts. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Cleveland Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Cleveland Lake dip into the 0's. | | Half Moon Campground, and there are some good whitewater spots on Homestake Creek. Cleveland Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range. Just can't get enough of the Sawatch Range. A delightful spot to camp here at Cleveland Lake is Gold Park Campground; you obtain a delightful panorama of Whitney Peak from here. you come at the right time of year, Eagle River offers some wonderful whitewater, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not visit Hunky Dory Lake. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Sawatch Range. Cleveland
Lake is not far at all from Edwards, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Main Range Trail. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Beaver Creek, and why not take a refreshing hike along
the Half Moon Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is good at Vail; do take a hike on the Fall Creek Trail. At Cleveland Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the
one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. What a location this is for outdoors people. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Christie Lodge, and Fall Creek Pass is unquestionably a wonderful place to check out.

LEDE Reservoir
 | 19 miles away Beautiful drive up to Lede Reservoir. We started in Eagle and took Sylvan Lake road all the way past the lake and then took a right at the first intersection. After climbing up and around the peak in front of us we were upon some huge rolling meadows that were among the forrests. A slight drop down into the valley on the west side of the mountains and a left turn lead us to the reservoir. It is a great spot with some fishing paths around the water and a number of campsites as well. We continued west to Gypsum Creek Road and a short drive back to the town of Gypsum.... |
Copper Mountain
