So much exciting stuff in close proximity to Cleveland Lake, just mind-blowing. If you need a location to stay Christie Lodge is a splendid choice, and camping at Gold Park Campground is always a glorious experience. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Fall Creek Trail, and after       a long day outdoors The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. Mulhall Lakes is a great lake near Cleveland Lake; whitewater paddling is fine on Homestake Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Beaver Creek, and at Cleveland Lake you always meet someone from Edwards. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Sawatch Range. Vail has good slopes and                  a friendly staff, and Eagle River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Having a great time at Cleveland Lake is painless. A good site close to Cleveland Lake is Fall Creek Pass, and Cleveland Lake is right by the Main Range Trail. Cleveland Lake is pretty dehydrated generally; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most while February is generally the driest month. Summertime highs at Cleveland Lake typically tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Cleveland Lake through the wintertime frequently drop into the 0's. That right there is a heap of fun things already but it goes on, the Sawatch Range has it all. Lakes are such serene sites, why not stop by Hunky Dory Lake near Cleveland Lake, and at Cleveland Lake you can make out Whitney Peak.
