Clear Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. It is very dried out here at Clear Lake typically; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Big Cimarron Campground while you're here at Clear Lake, and if you've had enough of Clear Lake, Beaver Lake is nearby. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the San Juan Mountains. Fish Creek is

| | one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out, and if you come at the right time of year, Cimarron River offers some fine whitewater.
This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves The Hole, and going for a hike on the Alpine Trail is always a splendid adventure. Having a good time in the San Juan Mountains is simple. Go for a hike on the Little Cimarron Trail; camping is available at Beaver Lake Campground.

Clear Lake, too great to be true. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Ouray is a great place to spend a night or two; pleasant hiking is available along the Lou Creek Trail. If you need a location to stay Ouray Chalet Inn is a splendid
choice, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Silverton. Summertime at Clear Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are ordinarily
in the 30's with temperatures at Clear Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
Beaver Lake Dam is not far at all from Clear Lake, and glide down the rapids of Cimarron River in a kayak. Clear Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Juan Mountains.
