If you adore the outdoors, you'll love Clear Lake. Clear Lake is not the only location close by, Basin Number 1 Reservoir is a close by lake, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Bull and Brown Trail. Little Battlement Dam is a location that is in the vicinity of Clear Lake, and the Carson Lake Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. Get wet paddling on Kannah Creek; if you need a place       to stay Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a great choice. Clear Lake is generally a quite dehydrated place; throughout October this area sees the most rain while January is typically the driest month. For the period of the summertime months here at Clear Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight                  here at Clear Lake. Comfort Inn Delta is a nice spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Clear Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Spruce Grove Campground is a great local campground, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Point Camp Trail.
