One of the dominant highlights of the surroundings of Clear Lake is Alpine Peak, and going for a hike along the Argentine Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. From a rain point of view Clear Lake is a relatively common place; the month of April is the wettest with       most of the snow, and the driest month is October. You need to have a look at Pavillion Point if you're here at Clear Lake; get covered with water paddling on Clear Creek. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Clear Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 60's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 30's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Clear Lake temperatures                  descend to the 0's. Green Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and dry warm beds await you at Georgetown Mountain Inn. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect spot to camp here at Clear Lake is West Chicago Creek Campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Clear Creek - West Fork. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Arapahoe Basin, and delightful water scenery is available at Clear Lake Dam right next door to Clear Lake. Leavenworth Creek flows through this region, and Super 8 Motel - Georgetown is a nice place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Clear Lake, you could also go to wonderful Green Lake, and the slopes of Winter Park are so inviting nobody can resist. Man, is there a lot of cool things to do near Clear Lake.
