At Clairfield Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; all through May this area sees the most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. During the days of summer at Clairfield Reservoir highs are typically in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration       of the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Clairfield Reservoir plunge into the 10's. Good hiking is available along the Beaver Brook Trail, and glide down the rapids of Bear Creek in a kayak. If you love the outdoors, you'll love Clairfield Reservoir. Paddling on South Platte River is so much fun; if you came for an overnight stay Flying Saucer RV Park is a fine location to camp. This lake is so wonderful.                  Do stop at Ward Reservoir Number 5 close to Clairfield Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake, and dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Denver Southwest/Lakewood. Clairfield Reservoir is close to Crosley and Westfield Dam which is a striking spot beyond doubt worth visiting; if you need a place to stay Residence Inn Denver Southwest/Lakewood is a fine choice. An afternoon playing golf at Green Gables Country Club is always a delight, and camping is available at South Park Mobile Home Park. This lake is so wonderful.
